Peace agreement and peace activities in Mindanao was on the air on 13th Feb.

To achieve world peace, the peace advocate Man Hee LEE and NAm Hee Kim
visited the Philippines.
And the peace walk held in General Santos.
Many youths and religious leaders attended the peace walk.
Also, they held a peace forum and discussed how to achieve peace in Mindanao.
At this peace forum, there was a historical ceremony for signing the peace agreement.
Through this, peace will be achieved in religion.
IT seems that through these wonderful events, efforts for ending war and world peace have become stronger worldwide.

Mahatma, great soul, Gandhi.
Strikes, non-cooperation, mass civil disobedience, and spending lots of time in prison.
Perhaps these bring to mind a ganster's personal history to you.
It is Mahatma Gandhi's, called as Great Soul.
Then, What do you think of Gandhi's achievement?
The answer probably be the power of nonviolence.
His nonviolent action was not passive. As cited above, he led a social movement on a large scale.
And his strategy on nonviolent action to British scratched British's moral authority by letting British use violence to unarmed Indian.
For that reason, nonviolence actions must be measured, and the demonstrators are willing to die for their belief.
It is from the creed that a moral principle is the strongest power than any other things.
Gandhi said
"A small body of determined spirits fired by an unquenchable faith in their mission can alter the course of human history."
Not long ago, a peace advocate Man hee Lee, made a peace agreement between Catholic and Islamic groups in Mindanao.
He asked a question to nature in human.
As a believer, will God like the situation of conflict with religion?
His speech pulled down basis of all the reason that they said which had to fight each other.
So, after that, they do not fight for their religious reason any more.
If they fight, it left a blemish in human history.
He ended that 40 years war by delivering a speech, nonviolent action.
But just remember, it's not easy speech in front of the conflictive crowd.
Nonviolence can change world to peace.

School attack in Nigeria.
Assume that you are a girl, studying in the high-school.
At that time, an armed group assaulted without warning into your school.
And you are abducted. In your school!!
This is not a assumption.
It's real thing in Nigeria.
The Islamist militant group, Boko Haram, attacked schools on 15th April.
The families of schoolgirls kidnapped say they are fast losing hope for seeing their daughters again despite government assurances they will be found.
They said they will kill the teachers who teach western education in front of their students, and tell the students to study the Qu'ran.
The leader, Abubakar Shekau, said "Our religion does not permit us to touch small children and women. We don't kill children."
But, for example, they took off one Muslim girl's all clothes and battered her because she didn't cover her ankles.
What was worse, they kill people in mosque.
I think it's not for their religious conviction.
They just want to create a state in the north, ruled by their rule. not by their god's.

Earth Mother Wangari Maathai.
Wangari Maathai, she planted 7 seedlings in her front yard, and recommend other women to do that.
That is the start of the Green Belt Movement. The movement leads women in country to plant seedlings in their barren land.
The green brought changes in their landscape, people's mind and encouraged people do more peaceful things.
Moreover, She gathered women. There, women studied how to react to their husband being violent,
Ki-moon Ban said that "Her passing is a loss for the people of Kenya and the world. She was a globally recognized champion for human rights and women's empowerment. And she was a pioneer in articulating the links between human rights, poverty, environmental protection and security." in a statement on the UN website.
Wangari Maathai won the Nobel Peace Prize for the sustainable development, democracy and peace.
She showed us the simple and little thing can make a great change over the nation.
Though, she passed away, but her brave, continuous and practicable idea is still inspiring us.

Because it's not in war, I can enjoy the nature.
Seeing the cherry-blossom, a flood of thoughts coursed through my mind.
I really thank God, I could enjoy the beautiful nature and think of people I love.
The memory will be enshrined in my heart.
And it, all are possible when it's not in war.
There's still a conflict in our world.
I thank the people who work for world peace. They are not take care of themselves. They have sacrificed for world peace. Like Man hee Lee did in Mindanao.

Media can prevent Genocide! - Media have to do the right thing!
Genocide is not happen abruptly.
In Rwanda's case, it started colonization by Belgium .
But the dictatorial goverment made it deeper the gap in the 2 tribes for a long time.
It may be so different from what we expect, media is not take a neutral attitude.
RTLM(Radio Television Libre des Mille Collines) and Kangura paper had changed the way people think, implanted hatred.
They called Tutsi as a "cockroach", and they even made a list to kill.
There might be no genocide in Rwanda, if there's a accurate and balanced report.
Media is double-edged sword.

Man Hee Lee is middle of 80's. In spite of his age, he ran into Mindanao in philippines.
And he made a speech about the importance of peace in front of 2 religious groups and university students. And he ended the conflict, which lasted 40 years.
This is no small thing!
Media support that activity by delivering the news to the world wide.
In doing so, the news can make the people who signed the peace agreement keep their promise.
Then, it will guard the life of youth from the war.

Never forget, Never again - Rwanda Genocide
Every 7th April, there is a Commemoration of Rwanda Genocide against Tutsi in Rwanda.
Including the President, people in violet walk to remember.
It's been 20 years from that incident.
Rwanda was ruled by Belgium.
Belgium execute a caste system, and alienate affection between Tutsi and Hutu.
It deepen misunderstanding between them.
After independance from Belgium, dictator, Habyarimana, made it worse for his political power.

How do you feel to live with whom killed your family in your town that you were born and grew up?
In that period of genocide, people all had been told to kill their teachers, students, neighbors, your acquaintances. All incidents were ended, they have lived the town, they were lived. Assailants and victims are living in a same town.
And survived people are forced to forgive their enemies.
What can they do more than that?
It would be difficult to forgive the enemy, killed loved ones.
And it's irrational. It's not their fault to be dead or something bad happened.
It was an political invention of domestic and foreign affairs.
I can't make up my mind how to bring peace to Rwanda.
Rwandan meditate on this incident to overcome the sad past and jump up for the new future.
I do wish they have a true peace in their mind.

Have you ever heard about "Comforting Women"?
It's not only in Korea, but many other countries in Asia.
If there's not in peace, there's no boundaries to protect you from the evil things.
In war, people are going crazy. So many troubles will be in the war including rape like this.
So, Peace is the best powerful strategy to human be like a decent human being.
Wanting peace is not a word of a weak person.
Therefore Don't say that "I'm not interest in Peace." or "It's on goverment's plate. It's no concern of mine."
But say, "I'll do everything from small beginnings.
Like Mindanao, Youth did a peace walk intended by Man hee Lee, a peace advocate.
The movement made representatives from each religion, islam and catholic, sign the peace agreement.
Walking is not a big thing, you know.

Una charla de paz significativo para esta generación.
Todo el mundo dice que les gusta la "paz" , pero la mayoría de las personas mueven la cabeza cuando le pregunto "De todos modos es algo posible conseguir la verdadera paz? " A veces me gustaría que este mundo sea pacífico , pero parece que no hay plan de acción que pienso para mí la paz es sólo un concepto ideal en el lado opuesto de la guerra como la realidad es difícil sobrevivir .
Oneday vi una noticia en Internet sobre Mindanao , Filipinas que había habido una guerra civil durante 40 años y finalmente concluido un acuerdo de paz por el defensor de la paz Man Hee Lee. Fue tan increíble que de repente me he centrado en el fondo para el pacto de paz .
Mindanao es la segunda isla más grande de Filipinas, donde 22 millones de personas viven con . En los siglos finales de los 14, el Islam se estableció en Mindanao y los católicos romanos se extendieron en época de la colonia España . Hoy en día la mayoría de Mindanaons practican el Islam , alrededor del 61 % de la población. También hay algunos cristianos (32%) , y los budistas ( 4 % ) y el resto es pertenece a una considerable animista o comunidades paganas.
Sin embargo, tras el estallido de la 2 ª Guerra mundial, muchos agricultores se vieron obligados a emigrar a Mindanao y entraron en conflicto severo por diversa religión con diferentes idiomas. En consecuencia , MNLF ( Frente Moro de Liberación ) se organizó para pedir su independencia contra el gobierno de Filipinas. Debido a la pobreza generalizada y las diferencias religiosas , la isla se ha visto una insurgencia comunista , así como los movimientos separatistas armados Moro .
Desde entonces, una guerra sin fin continúa en la isla , con más de 140 miles de accidentes que se trataba de una de las zonas representativas de conflicto en la región de Asia .
En la isla de guerra donde las muertes frecuentes son en todas partes las cosas, nadie ha imaginado la paz vendría a esta área , incluso de esta manera pacífica. Mundial pacifista presidente Lee fue sede de la Caminata por la Paz en el centro de la ciudad de General Santos , donde cerca de 1.000 participantes, entre ellos estudiantes de la Universidad Estatal de Mindanao , los miembros del Grupo Internacional de la Juventud , y líderes religiosos se unieron al evento , que trasciende los límites de la religión y la nacionalidad de la primera tiempo en esta región . Este movimiento creó una gran sensación y esperanzas entre los filipinos , que anhelan la paz y se inició una ola de paz dentro de las sociedades internacionales , medios de comunicación y personas.

The war and the Peace agreement on Mindanao.
As you see in this movie clip, the one who can take off the coat from the man was the sun.
The same was in Mindanao.
The one who can end the 40 years war was Man hee Lee.
He didn't use military force to bring peace to Mindanao, but he called leaders of Islam and Catholic and the youth of Mindanao.
And there, he emphasized the peace. The excitement doesn't end there, he took each leader's autograph on the peace agreement.
Military force is not the answer to world peace.
I hope Man hee lee go every troubled region, and bring peace to world.
